Physical Therapy at Southern Hills
Southern Hills’s physical therapy program is led by state-licensed physical therapists. Therapy sessions are designed to restore strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, respiration, and motor functions.
Each elder receives a personalized care plan and their progress is meticulously documented allowing our physical therapists to accurately assess their readiness to become independent and reintegrate into the community safely. Southern Hills helps individuals recovering from:

Occupational therapy helps elders reach maximum function, meaning, and satisfaction in their daily lives. Elders learn about the importance of participating in life’s events for overall wellbeing. Speech Pathology
Southern Hills speech therapists work with our medical staff to develop individualized care plans customized for each elder’s unique needs. Elders may need speech pathology as a result of:

The speech therapists’ duties include assisting with speech articulation and fluency. If cognitive-communication impairment is present, therapists treat attention and memory deficits, abstract reasoning, and problem-solving deficits.
